BOARD OF SELECTMEN, ASSESSORS AND OVERSEERS MEETING

MARCH 29, 2010

 

Present:          

Selectmen:       George D. Richardson, Jr., Gerald A. Bodmer and Ross Norton

Citizens:           Ben & Sandra Crehore, Richard DeVries

Guests:             Charlotte Boynton of Wiscasset Newspaper and John Maguire of Lincoln County News

 

                                   

Meeting Commenced: 

1.  Selectman George D. Richardson, Jr. called the meeting to order at 12:16 p.m.

 

Business Conducted:

2. Warrant: The warrant was reviewed and George motioned to approve Warrant No.39 for $22,949.69; Jerry, 2nd; vote: 3-0.

 

3. Minutes: The minutes of the March 15, 2010 meeting were reviewed. George motioned to accept as written; Jerry, 2nd; vote: 3-0  

The minutes of the March 22, 2010 meeting were reviewed. George motioned to accept as written; Ross, 2nd; vote: 2-0.  Jerry abstained as he was not present at that meeting. 

 

4. Citizens Issues: Richard DeVries requested to know when the Ferry Landing could be used this year to launch heavy boats. George advised him that he would contact Pine Tree Engineering for their advice.

 

5. Abatements: George motioned to abate the following Real Estate:

7. Roads: Ross advised that David Bertran had asked about re-instatement of the Road Committee and had volunteered to be a member. George suggested that Ross discuss the possibility with the Road Commissioner.
