1. BOS Meeting Commenced:

George called the meeting to order at 07:10 p.m.

Business Conducted:

2. Warrant: George motioned to approve Warrant #55, for a total of $103,188.88.

(Payroll- $1,110.01 and Payables-$102,078.80); Jerry 2nd, vote 3-0

3. BOS Minutes:

George motioned to accept the minutes of June 20, 2011 as written; Ross 2nd, vote 3-0

4. Budget Committee Resignation;

Budget Committee Deputy Chairman Susan Partelow surprised the BOS with her early resignation from the committee. Her term was due to expire July 1, 2012. George motioned that her resignation was not accepted and requested that she consider finishing her term; Jerry 2nd, vote 3-0.

5. Fire Truck;

Fire Chief Bob Mooney requested the BOS sign a credit application to get the purchase agreement started on the fire truck which the Town voted be purchased at town meeting. He then advised the BOS that the fire truck will possibly not be available for 6 to 8 months.

6. Heating oil price for the 2011/2012 heating season:

George said that he had received a gallon price of $3.25.9 from Downeast Energy but asked Jerry & Ross if they would agree with him to not accept the price but rather see if it got better next week. Both agreed to wait for a possible better price.

7.BOS Meeting July 4, 2011:

The BOS agreed that there would be no meeting held on the Fourth of July and the next would be held on July 11, 2011.

Jerry motioned to appoint George as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen and Chairman of the Board of Assessors; Ross 2nd, vote 2-0
