George called the
meeting to order at 07:02 p.m.

George motioned
to approve Warrant # 6, for a total of $4,036.69
(Payroll- $484.00 and Payables- $3,552.69); Jerry
2nd, vote 3-0
3. Accepting Minutes:
George moved to
accept the minutes of 7-25-2011. Ross 2nd, vote 3-0

5. Training Course for Municipal Clerk
& Registrar:
The Secretary of
State has notified our office that the Municipal Clerk and Registrar of Voters
must attend a training session every 2 years in regards to Conduct of Elections
and Voter Registration.
6. Wright Committee Makes Path:
The Wright
Committee has made a path from the parking lot out to the point behind the
rental house for picnic use.

Wright House Step Repair: George motioned to approve $100.00 to
repair the steps at the Wright House.

Vote at MMA:
George moved to
vote for Stephen Bunker as Vice President of the Executive Committee (MMA). Jerry 2nd, vote 3-0
George moved to
vote for members of the Board of Directors of the Executive Committee (MMA) as
Errol Additon, Beurmond Banville & Laurie Smith.

Smart Meter:
George motioned
to let Central Maine Power put a smart meter on the town office. Jerry 2nd, vote 3-0
10. Health Officer Gets Complaint:
The Health
Officer (Ann Cavanaugh) has had a complaint that dog & Cat feces and other
debris has been found along Sandy Richardson’s property line. The Health Officer has written a letter to
Albert Greenleaf notifying him of the same and asking him to clean-up the
debris on his side of the property line.

to send this letter to Albert Greenleaf.

Granite Bench Donated:
Skip Charles has
donated a Granite Bench to be put on Clough Point. A big thank you goes to the Charles family
