Minutes: The
minutes from the May 21 meeting were signed by all members present. A copy of the minutes will be given to the town
selectmen, town administrative assistant and a copy will be posted at the town office.
Warden’s report: Joe
reported that he had received a call concerning suspected illegal clam
harvesting activity at Squam Creek on August 1 at about 1430. Upon investigating at Squam Creek the
harvesters had left the Seen. Dee Dee Greenleaf our town clerk traced the license plate to

agreed to compile the Bi-Annual warden report.
McCarty Cove: We will
sample this closed area again in the spring of 2008.
Fowles Cove: We plan to
sample this close cove in early spring 2008.
Squam Creek: Joe reported that
there is currently a great abundance of clams in the cove now which indicates
that our efforts in bringing this area back and restricting harvesting to
recreational use has been very successful.
Job Assignments 2007 – 2008: The following are changes to membership for the coming
year.
Dave
– one year renewal.
Jay
Seigars – 1 year alternate
David
Besecker – 1 year alternate
Other Business: The committee agreed to
sample Greenleaf Cove early next year.
Joe agreed to compile a detailed listing of the conservation credits
earned by commercial harvesters in 2007.
